Korean Tricot

KOREAN TRICOT

Warp-knitted fabric, that has been knitted in a tricot warp-knitting machine. The fabrics can range from very sheer and lightweight to opaque and heavyweight.

Tricot’s unique weave allows it to be smooth on one side and textured on the other. The run-resistant construction makes tricots the perfect fabrics to use when producing garments such as swimwear, lingerie, sportswear and more.

Chinese Tricot

CHINESE TRICOT

Tricot is often constructed from a mixture of nylon and spandex or polyester and spandex.

The entirely synthetic kind from China is by far the most popular choice, despite the fact that some of them could include a trace amount of natural fibers like cotton.

Speedo

SPEEDO

Designed to last longer, Endurance is a 100% chlorine resistant fabric. Endurance+ is quick drying and engineered to retain its shape, swim after swim. In addition Speedo Endurance+ fabric offers 20 times more fade resistance than conventional swimwear fabrics and improved snag resistance.

Polyester Lycra (Spandex)

PLYESTER LYCRA

Polyester Lycra is a type of synthetic fabric that is very elastic. It is made from a combination of polyester and polyurethane (a flexible plastic material). Due to its strength and elasticity, lycra is a popular fiber in clothing especially in sportswear.

Cotton Lycra (Spandex)

COTTON LYCRA

Cotton Lycra blend fabric is a type of fabric that combines cotton with Lycra. This combination makes the fabric softer than pure cotton and stronger than pure polyester. This combination makes it softer than pure cotton or pure polyester fabrics. It also gives the fabric some elasticity.

Single Jersey
Fleece

FLEECE

The name probably brings sheep to mind. Usually, though, the cozy fabric we call ‘fleece’ is actually made from polyester.

Plastic might not be your first thought when you’re cuddling up in a warm fleece, but that’s exactly what polyester is. It’s the same material that’s used to make plastic bottles, and it’s used in a lot of clothes.

Micro Interlock Polyester

MICRO INTERLOCK PLYESTER

You can tell this fabric apart from regular stretch knit fabrics by the rows, or ribs, of a ‘V’ shape down the face and back of the fabric, making the front and back look the same. Essentially, the two sides are knitted together at the same time on one machine and remain interlocked to be thicker than other knit fabrics. Interlock also has the tightest knit, giving it the smoothest surface and nicest hand.

Egyptian Cotton

EGYPTIAN COTTON

Egyptian cotton comes from the species Gossypium Barbadense. This is the same plant from which Pima cotton originates. However, the climate in Egypt produces longer fibers than any other cotton. These long fibers are spun into extra-fine threads, which are then woven into a high-quality fabric. Thread count is the number of threads in each square inch; a higher thread count means the fabric will feel dense and luxurious and will last long. A lower thread count indicates a softer and pliable fabric.

Combed Cotton

COMBED COTTON

Combed cotton is a kind of cotton that has been given a specific treatment before being spun into yarn, which results in it having a much softer feel than regular cotton. As a general rule, combed cotton is more expensive than conventional cotton

Micro Fleece

MICRO FLEECE

Microfleece is very similar to fleece in the sense that they are made of the same material and produced in the same way. Microfleece fibers are thinner than silk strands to prevent the fabric from clogging. This makes the fabric itself incredibly lightweight yet warm.
